I have filled the Adblue in the car but it didn't detect and autoreset the distance until start disabled. 13 L of Adblue have been put into the vehicle. Weather here is currently -30 deg C so not sure if the tank has froze, Adblue/DEF freezes around -11 C. Vehicle now has 20 km until start disabled and can't figure out how to reset the unit.
The Audi Q7 TDI has about a 6 gallon (23 liter) adblue tank capacity which should last over 10,000 miles. The Q7 body is longer than the Touareg so it has 2 tanks: a 15.5 liter passive reservoir under the car and a 7 liter active tank next to the diesel fuel filler. Here's an interesting cutaway of the Q7 system. The adblue tanks are shown to
6 days ago Ā· First we get inside the car and go to press the button of the reset that we find on the right, with the maintenance key indicated; after which we turn on the ignition, always holding down the button with the key. At this point we wait until the display light is reset on the panel; then turn off the ignition and restart the engine, checking that
I've added a total of about 8 gallons of AdBlue over time, and the level sensors have not yet given any warning of being low. I plan to keep adding it in increments so as not to have to take it to the dealer for a readaptation of the level sensor. We'll see. PS - Audi AdBlue, aka Diesel Exhaust Fluid, has a lower MSRP than the equivalent VW fluid.

I'm having same 2 errors on my 2010 Q7 and would sure appreciate if you would share your solution. The previous owner had the NOx sensors replaced and I had the adblue dousing valve replaced. I read that the adblue nozzle or pump may be causing this, but I don't want to be keeping the dealer busy with part production just to chase down what
TBH i don't know if you can do it right now. Like I said, i've only unlocked 3-4 audi's with this problem when there was no more starting. You could always pull over and try it.
If Adblue refill is not part of any warranty repair, Audi is not going to pay dealer any part/labor for filling up your Q7 Adblue tank. I would buy some Adblue to top it off. Depending on how you drive the Q7, a gallon of Adblue is good for around 2000 miles. Reply Like. 06-07-2017, 07:36 AM.
AdBlue is only for use with diesel vehicles using SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology. It is a 100 per cent New Zealand made exhaust system additive that reduces Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines. AdBlue is created by mixing a urea solution with demineralised water. When itās injected into the hot exhaust gas the
